A good brew begins before water meets coffee or tea. The temperature you choose and the way you pour both shape what happens next. AURA gives each part of that preparation its own considered detail.
The 0.8 L gooseneck model is made for the deliberate movement of a pour-over: approaching the bed, placing the stream and returning to a familiar rhythm. Its compact capacity keeps the kettle suited to the water you need for a focused brewing session.
With 0.1°C settings and PID control, temperature becomes a choice you can record and return to. Keep it consistent while you explore another variable, or adjust it deliberately as you learn what a coffee or tea responds to.

Water temperature is one of the choices in preparing coffee or tea. AURA brings that choice to the base, with a rotary control and temperature display so you can set a target and see the reading while the kettle works.
The smart kettle uses 0.1°C PID temperature control. The controller responds to temperature feedback as it regulates heating. The useful difference is being able to choose a target for the method instead of treating every brew as a request for boiling water.

In a pour-over, where you place the water is part of the preparation. AURA’s gooseneck gives the stream a defined path, helping you work across the coffee bed, pause between pours and return to the centre.
Control comes from the whole movement: how far you tilt, how high you hold the kettle and how quickly you move. The spout gives you a tool for practising that movement, while the 0.8 L format keeps your brewing water close at hand.

Preparation
A clear start.

The removable lid gives you access for filling before the kettle returns to its base. Prepare the amount of water you need within the marked limits, then choose your target temperature.
That sequence leaves time to weigh the coffee, rinse the filter and set out the cup. Hold and memory functions bring temperature preparation into the rhythm of your brew, including the pauses between pours.
Choosing the right kettle configuration.
Match the capacity, edition, voltage and plug before ordering. The 0.8 L and 1.5 L smart kettles are distinct from the 1.0 L AURA Teapot. The teapot does not inherit the smart kettle’s electric heating functions.

The kettle brings a stainless steel body together with the handle, lid and separate electrical base. Each part has a different role: containing the water, supporting the pour and controlling heating.
Follow the fill markings and keep the base and electrical connections dry. Regular care and descaling, as directed by the manual for your model, are part of maintaining the way the kettle heats and pours.
