VS4 / HYPERNOVA IRIDESCENT TITANIUM
Explore the Hypernova geometry.
Hypernova Iridescent Titanium pairs its distinct cutting geometry with an iridescent titanium finish. The supplied VS4 reports show how its particle distribution changes across three measured grind settings at 150 RPM.

Choose with a reference.
This set is an optional upgrade for VS4. Its finish and cutting geometry are part of the choice; a coating colour alone does not establish how a coffee will taste.
For espresso, compare sweetness, acidity, bitterness, body and finish at a consistent dose and beverage yield. For filter, compare clarity, balance and texture at a consistent coffee-to-water ratio. Dial in each set before comparing the cups.
Keep the coffee, water and brew method the same. Change one variable at a time and record the burr set, grind setting and RPM.
Measured, at the burr.
The supplied laser particle-size reports describe the tested coffee at the settings shown below. D10, D50 and D90 are the particle sizes below which 10%, 50% and 90% of the measured volume fall. They are not the percentage of particles at that exact size.
This set was measured at settings 3, 6 and 10 at 150 RPM. The supplied reports do not include tests at 200, 250 or 300 RPM for this set.
Grind markings are a mechanical reference, not a universal particle-size or flavour scale. Coffee, burr calibration and test conditions affect the result. These measurements do not predict an extraction time or a sensory score.

Fit. Calibrate. Dial in.
- Switch off and unplug VS4. Follow the manual’s burr removal and installation procedure; routine hopper access and changing the burr set are different operations.
- Remove loose coffee, fit the correct VS4 set and reassemble following the manual. Do not run the grinder with the grinding chamber disengaged.
- After changing burrs, check the zero reference using the manual. Never run the motor with the burrs in contact.
- Begin with a familiar coffee and recipe. Keep RPM steady, adjust the grind in small steps and taste before changing the dose or brew ratio.

These 53 mm conical sets are made for VS4. VS3 38 mm burrs and VS6 58 mm flat or 63 mm conical burrs are separate platforms and are not interchangeable with VS4.
