EVO / THE EVERYDAY ROUTINE

Keep the routine. Change the drive.

A hand crank for one morning. A motor for the next. The current EVO system makes that change at the connection above the grinder.

There is a particular rhythm to hand grinding: load a dose, take hold of the crank and feel the work of the burrs. A powered grind has a different rhythm. Press the button and use those moments to prepare the brewer.

EVO places that choice above a shared grinding system. The current design uses a 38 mm conical burr set and an external adjustment ring with 144 positions. The adjustment stays with the grinder as the way you drive it changes.

Two connections, each with a job.

The current Hybrid motor attaches through a quick-connect bayonet mechanism with a ball-bearing lock. The hand crank uses a separate magnetic connection. They are distinct parts of the system, and the difference is useful when learning the changeover.

Follow the current manual to seat and release each attachment. A secure connection is part of the preparation, alongside checking the grind setting and placing the dosing cup. Familiarity makes the sequence easier to repeat at home or wherever the next brew happens.

A small grinder, a deliberate dose.

EVO is designed around single doses, with a bean capacity of approximately 25–30 g. Weighing the coffee before loading gives the recipe a clear starting point and avoids leaving a hopper full of beans between brews.

On Hybrid, the 40 W motor operates at 42 ± 6 RPM. For hand grinding, the crank puts the rotation back in your hands. Neither choice removes the need to dial in: the coffee, brewing method and taste still decide the useful setting.

Carry the reference with you.

When a brew tastes right, note the dose and ring position before changing anything. Keep the same recipe as a starting point when you move between routines, then adjust by taste if needed.

EVO Hand and EVO Hybrid offer different ways into that routine. Choose the configuration that fits how you make coffee, and check the contents of the selected model before ordering. The current manual shows the attachments and the connection in detail.
