FIRMWARE UPDATES

  • Firmware updates for AKU scales will be released here as we update the firmware through our development and production phases.
  • Use the following step by step guide to assist you when updating AKU with an available update.

Download the latest firmware for your AKU

AKU FIRMWARE UPDATE DOWNLOAD

STEP 1:

Download App "nRF Connect", Turn on bluetooth and enter the App. Ensure the AKU Scale is turned off on the screen but powered on at the rear power switch.

STEP 2:

Turn ON the AKU Scale & locate device name: AKU SCALE - Click the connect button.

STEP 3:

Click the "Client" tab and then click "Connect" at the right hand top corner of the screen. Next scroll to the bottom and locate the "Unknown Characteristic with the "UUID" value of FFF2. Click the small upload arrow on the bottom right.

STEP 4:

Select the "UTF8" tab and input "WSD_OTA" into the data entry field, select "COMMAND" and click "Write" (IOS) or "Send" (Android).

STEP 5:

The app will now state "The specified device has disconnected from us.

STEP 6:

Click on the tab "DFU" and then click connect.

STEP 7:

Click Open Document Picker at the bottom of the page - then select the downloaded "ZIP" file from our update section download link above. (Ensure to download this file directly onto your device from our link above).

STEP 8:

Ensure PRN to "0" and once the file is uploaded, click "Start".

STEP 9:

The upload will process and the scale will be updated and reboot.

STEP 10:

While updating the AKU screen will remain off, do not touch the scale buttons or power switch while updating. Once complete the scale will reboot.
